In 1954 in the heart of downtown Lafayette, Paul and Theresa Naomi began a jewelry business based on simple values. As Lafayette grew and prospered so did Paul's Jewelry as well as the Naomi family which now includes son P.J. and daughters, Nancy and Patricia. All three children attended local schools and pitched in at the jewelry store during weekends and holidays. They also continued their education at the University of Louisiana. All three children are now in the family business and have renewed the committment of their parents to the people of Acadiana. In recent years Paul's has doubled in size and added such prestigious lines as Mikimoto, Baume & Mercier and Lalique.
